I'm a passionate student at UNC's Hussman School of Journalism and Media with a strong interest in both journalism and advertising. I love crafting stories, building creative campaigns, and exploring how media connects people. Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve developed skills in writing, video production, coding, and strategy. I’m eager to grow and contribute in the journalism, advertising, or public relations fields.
THE COLD IN APRIL
In his sophomore year of high school, sixteen-year-old Peter Newman meets the most impactful person in his life. The year older, April Nixon, and Peter immediately hit it off and have a short, but deeply impactful relationship. April takes Peter to his first party, to her wild and at times reckless way of life, and most importantly, April introduces Peter to pain, loss, and tragedy. Peter falls for April quickly and plans the best time to tell her, at her birthday party.
